Invest Cape Town Centre Expands Product Showcase to Highlight Local Enterprise Growth
The City of Cape Town’s Invest Cape Town Centre has unveiled a new rotation of locally made products on display at its City Hall premises, further positioning the facility as a platform for investment promotion, business networking and economic collaboration.
Opened in January 2024, the Invest Cape Town Centre was established as a multi-use hub aimed at supporting economic activity, investor engagement and partnerships between public and private sector stakeholders. According to the City, the venue has hosted nearly 80 strategic engagements since launch, including diplomatic meetings, workshops, panel discussions and networking events focused on Cape Town’s economic development.
A central feature of the space is its dedicated product display area, where Cape-based businesses are showcased on a rotating three-month basis. The latest intake features 20 businesses representing a broad cross-section of the local economy, from fashion and wellness to manufacturing, food production and homeware.
Among the businesses now on display are Diamond Sparkle Detergents, InConnect BPO, Manna and Me, The Koesister Candle Co., Kgotsos Pride, Indwe Designs, SHAMBROWN, Antonicorenellius, Rea’Nubia, Thabo Makhetha, Sensory Sweet, Cape Flats Native Clothing Company, Walk The Talk Africa, African Secret, Monatea, Design26, Dune Nature, Adore Her by G, Wonder Snacks and Lulama Natural.
Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth Alderman James Vos said the new selection reflects sectors currently experiencing meaningful growth in Cape Town’s economy and helps illustrate the broader ecosystem of entrepreneurship and industry operating within the metro. He noted that the Centre is intended to serve as a practical working space that facilitates stronger conversations around economic development while creating opportunities for businesses and job creation.
The Centre is available for bookings by city partners, businesses and organisations wishing to host small-scale engagements focused on Cape Town’s economic activity, with the venue accommodating up to 50 attendees. Businesses interested in exhibiting products at the Centre will be able to apply during the next intake period, scheduled to open in June 2026.
As the Invest Cape Town Centre continues to evolve, the City aims for the space to remain a visible and active showcase of the businesses, entrepreneurs and industries driving growth across the metro.
