Cape Town celebrates one of its brightest global stars as proudly South African soprano Pretty Yende continues to shine on the world stage. Following a successful Spring Gala performance at the iconic Royal Opera House, Pretty had the distinguished honour of meeting His Majesty King Charles III during the unveiling of the new grand curtains bearing the King’s cipher.

The internationally acclaimed opera star described the moment as an “incredible honour and pleasure”, reflecting on reconnecting after the Coronation and expressing gratitude to the Royal Ballet and Opera House for entrusting her with such a prestigious photo opportunity alongside His Majesty.
